Up-To-Date Theatricals was founded in New York City in 1988 to help performing artists navigate the business of a professional career with better information, stronger marketing, and clearer strategy.

Annie Chadwick
Annie Chadwick is the founder and co-owner of Up-To-Date Theatricals LLC. Her multi-faceted performance career spans opera, musical theatre, film, television, cabaret, and music.
Her screen credits include Confessions of a Shopaholic, Law & Order: SVU, Saturday Night Live, Hallmark Channel’s New Morning, Awakenings and the feature film Hank Boyd Is Dead. She has performed at venues including Feinstein's/54 Below and Green Room 42, and toured internationally as lead singer of the Americana band NYCity Slickers. Selected stage credits include NPR’s Trials of the Earth with the NYCity Slickers, Jacques Brel: Life Dance, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Cabaret, Hello, Dolly!, Baby, Steel Magnolias, Jerry’s Girls, and Faust with Jerome Hines.
She holds a Master's Degree from Indiana University School of Music and is a member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, ASCAP, AGMA, and LPTW.
As a career coach, Annie combines performer experience with decades of industry research and client work to help actors create individualized, practical career plans.

Up-To-Date Theatricals is co-owned by Annie Chadwick and her daughter, Abigail Hardin. Together, they carry forward a company built around one enduring idea: actors deserve current information, practical tools, and clear guidance for the business side of their careers.
Annie remains the primary face of UTD's individualized career consultations, bringing decades of performer experience, industry research, and one-on-one work with actors. Abigail helps carry that mission into the next generation, including the continued growth of Up-To-Date Actor — UTDA — the company's digital career-management and industry-intelligence platform.
The name Up-To-Date is the through-line. UTD is not limited to theatre and is not a production company; it serves acting careers across the entertainment industry by helping performers stay informed, strategic, and ready for what comes next.
